About the Class

Join artist Mya Kerner in developing a sketchbook practice beyond drawing — honoring with the land as a living presence, uncovering its stories, finding belonging through expression.

Through a combination of guided observation and mindful mark-making, you'll learn how to use your sketchbook as a tool for reflection, exploration, and storytelling. This practice is less about technical skill and more about being curious, present, and open.

Perfect for artists, writers, nature lovers, and anyone seeking a more intentional way to engage with nature, this workshop invites participants to see sketchbook keeping as a way to listen to the land, trace memory, and practice reciprocity with the more-than-human world.
