Growing Space: Prenatal Yin Yoga

About the Class

In pregnancy, you may find yourself expanding emotionally and spiritually alongside your growing belly. As your body nurtures new life, Yin yoga can offer space to ground yourself, guiding you to soften as you increase your capacity in holding new life.

This practice honors the changing body with the foundational principles of Yin: edge, stillness, and time. You will practice finding your edge, the place where sensation begins. Once there, you will settle in stillness, encouraging the muscles melt, the mind to settle, and engage with your breath. Through long-held poses, the practice will guide you towards presence, as you are encouraged to soften resistance and to connect with what’s unfolding within.

No prior yoga experience is needed. Come as you are.
